Flowers in the July garden
Written By Shanna Ludwig
I’m finally getting around to posting flowers that bloomed in July. A few of these are nearly finished now because I only planted one or two crops or I stopped deadheading certain flowers (poppies and sweet peas), but most just started in July and are still going strong. The wildflower border I planted this spring is doing well with lots of scabious, Queen Anne’s lace, and harebell flowers. I’ve been harvesting flowers for drying, while leaving plenty of flowers in the garden for the wildlife.
